For Final Fantasy rejects, well that doesn't matter. There's a huge KH fanbase that would probably be drawn to this game for exactly that.
In games like these it comes down nto someone going, what's going to sell more, a Riku figure, or a Darkwing Figure, both apply to niche communities, but Darkwing would definitely have a better impact in style, market and usefulness in game. It's like Fire Emblem in Smash, sure we like the series, but theres just way too many for something not very popular. The majority of Disney Infinity fans wouldn't be too thrilled either with more than 3 since they are really useless. I could imagine some Kingdom Hearts fans would buy them, but not even all of them, which in itself would be a gamble. Sora, "screams" Disney, everyone else, they are basically Final Fantasy rejects (in some cases it's true). Riku, Kairi, Roxas, it'd all detract from "Disney". Eh again, I could only see Sora as a figure.
